Where can I find Rock Music Summer Camps in Cambridge?
For rock and rollers in Cambridge area, there are several opportunities for youth rock music camps. The closest camp being “camp.groove” run by contemporary music school, School of Groove.

After three successful summers of camp from 2008-2010, School of Groove is increasing the offerings of camp.groove to include offerings for beginning, intermediate, and advanced students. A sample daily schedule may include:
- 9-11: Improvisation
- 11-11:30 Group/Individual Practice
- 11:30-12:30: Lunch
- 12:30-2:00: Band rehearsal
- 2:00-3:00: Recording/Guest Masterclass
- 3:00-4:00: Songwriting
Additional evening activities may include:
-Performing at a club
-Attending a show (past shows attended: KISS, English Beat, Temptations, Vans Warped Tour)
-Recording Session
Students will learn from experienced rock musicians, record original music, and rock out in concert. Camp is available for kids and teens ages 8-18. Sign up for one week, three weeks, or all six weeks of camp.

Week 4: July 25-30
Week 5: August 1-6 (Advanced Students)
Week 6: August 8-13 (Emphasis on Recording)

School of Rock
Performance Boot Camp
A great introduction to our year- round program. This is a way for new and current students to make huge strides in the performance abilities. Students receive intensive individual and group lessons on the instrument of their choice. The program culminates in a live show. This is an ideal program for advanced beginners.
Duration: 1 Week
Schedule: 9am – 3pm (Monday through Friday) Max enrollment: 20
Activities include:
1⁄2 hour private lessons with our instructors, many of whom are Berklee-affiliated.
Being grouped into a band of 3-5 musicians
Learning 2 cover songs
Writing 1 original song from scratch
Recording your songs onto a CD
Guitar and drum maintenance clinics.
Learning how to promote your show.
Performing at a show at a local rock venue!

DayJams is America’s Original Rock Music Day Camp for beginners to experienced players ages 8-15. Every week at camp you will:
